The dangerous part of storm water is not the day it comes in. It is the month afterwards, when the outside looks dry and the inside of the wall is not.
Why concrete block changes the drying story
Three to six weeks is the usual delay between storm water intrusion and visible mold in Port St. Lucie's concrete block construction.

Most Port St. Lucie houses are concrete block with stucco outside and, on the inside, wooden furring strips holding drywall against the block. The block itself is not damaged by water. The furring strips, the drywall and any insulation in that cavity are.
That cavity is narrow, poorly ventilated and sits against a mass of concrete that stays cool. Water that gets in has very little opportunity to evaporate. Warm humid air plus wet wood plus no airflow is close to a laboratory setup for mold, and it works quietly for weeks before anything shows on the paint.

Baseboards are the tell. Pull one off a wall that took water and look at the back of the drywall and the bottom of the furring strip. That is where it starts.

The reason to do this on the day is that the mold claim you may file in six weeks will be assessed against whether the underlying water event was covered and reported. Photographs of mold on their own rarely establish that; photographs of the water do.
Common questions
The wall dried out - do I still need to worry?
The surface drying tells you little about the cavity. If water got behind drywall, the useful test is a moisture meter reading taken through the wall, not how the paint looks.
Can I dry it myself with fans?
For a small area caught immediately, yes - move air, run a dehumidifier, and pull the baseboard so the cavity can breathe. For a wall that has been wet for more than about 48 hours, drying in place usually is not enough.
Is a flood claim different from a wind-driven rain claim?
Very. Flood - rising water - is generally only covered by a separate NFIP or private flood policy. Wind-driven rain that entered through a wind-created opening is typically a homeowners claim. Which one applies is decided by how the water got in, so that detail is worth recording carefully.
